Recognising outstanding volunteersThe nominations for the Justice Awards 2007 were officially launched on 14 May. The Awards were set up in 2004 to recognise exceptional achievement among staff and volunteers working in the Criminal Justice system. This also applies to voluntary organisations that work with adults or young people who are victims, witnesses, defendants or offenders. If you are thinking of nominating somebody and would like to read more about this Award scheme go to the Criminal Justice Awards site. |
Still wondering how your organisation can mark Volunteers’ Week?Launch events are a great way of attracting attention and helping raise the profile of your organisation, letting everyone know about the great work you are doing. For example: If you are working on a project which will benefit volunteers or volunteering organisations, why not set the launch date during Volunteers’ Week and let everybody know about it! |
